Job Summary
Implement personalized care plans to directly improve clinical outcomes for patients in the Cardiothoracic ICU. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, holistic patient support and advocate for safety by monitoring health status and communicating critical changes in real-time. Strategically lead discharge planning to ensure a safe transition back to the community. Requires BLS and Advanced Life Support certification within 30 and 180 days, respectively, plus Kansas RN licensure and one year of recent Cardiothoracic ICU experience. Day shift PRN schedule at Via Christi St Francis.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of recent, hands-on experience in a dedicated Cardiothoracic ICU Unit
