Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while recording and communicating patient conditions. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Manage care across 15 telemetry beds and 8 IMC beds within the 7 North Cardiology department. Full-time nights and days shifts available with pattern scheduling including weekend rotations.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
