Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions as appropriate. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Work in a 15-bed telemetry and 8-bed IMC unit within the 7 North Cardiology department. Full-time options include nights or days with pattern scheduling including one weekend off every fourth weekend.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
