Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans, while noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Work in a 15-bed telemetry and 8-bed IMC unit at UAB St. Vincent's East, offering full-time night and day shifts with pattern scheduling including weekend rotations.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
