Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care and note physician and nursing orders. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Work in a 15-bed telemetry and 8-bed IMC unit at UAB St. Vincent's East, offering full-time day and night shifts with pattern scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
