Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Cardiac Stepdown unit by implementing and monitoring patient care plans while communicating patient conditions to the team. Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess discharge planning needs. Maintain licensure as a Registered Nurse in Alabama and obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Available for multiple shifts including days, nights, and weekends at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
