Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Cardiac Stepdown unit while implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions; coordinate care across all disciplines; and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Requires current Alabama RN licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and a nursing diploma. Full-time shifts available days, nights, and weekends at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
