Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Document and communicate patient conditions as appropriate by noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Maintain BLS certification and hold current Alabama RN licensure.
