Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Cardiac Stepdown unit by implementing and monitoring patient care plans while communicating patient conditions to the team. Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess discharge planning needs. Maintain licensure with the Alabama Board of Nursing and obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Work multiple shifts including days, nights, and weekends at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham. Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
