Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in Cardiac Stepdown while implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Requires current Alabama RN licensure and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted certification
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure at time of hire
