Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing, recording, and communicating patient conditions. Serve as the primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care. Execute physician and nursing orders and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Requires current Alabama RN licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and a nursing diploma. Full-time shifts available including days, nights, and weekends at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS certification
