Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, conduct resident education, and manage preventative health maintenance and treatment phases. Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of care within the Nurse Practice Act. Serve as charge nurse when assigned to manage shift operations. Work night shifts from 10:00pm to 6:30am with rotating weekends and holidays as a part-time employee.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
