Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement preventative health maintenance for residents in a 79-bed skilled care facility. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Work night shifts from 10:00pm to 6:30am with rotating weekends and holidays. Requires an unencumbered Minnesota RN license and Bachelor's degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for Rotating Weekends and Holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
