Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement interventions for health maintenance and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to assistive personnel. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice and ensure safe administration of resident care. Requires an unencumbered Minnesota RN license, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Night shift rotation from 10:00pm to 6:30am includes rotating weekends and holidays, with a bi-weekly schedule of 24 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
