Job Summary
Conduct individualized nursing care utilizing the nursing process for residents in a 79-bed long-term skilled care facility. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Coordinate care, perform resident assessments, and provide education while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to assistive personnel. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state practice acts and American Nurses Association standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
