Job Summary
Conduct individualized nursing care for residents using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate care, perform resident assessments, and provide education while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and families. Serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of competence. Manage care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment in a 79-bed skilled care facility. Requires an unencumbered Minnesota RN license and part-time status for night shifts (10:00pm to 6:30am) with rotating weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
