Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessment, and implement interventions for health maintenance and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues and families to plan and evaluate care while serving as charge nurse when needed to delegate tasks. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise to address residents in all phases of preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment. Work night shifts from 10:00pm to 6:30am in a 79-bed skilled care facility, with rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for Rotating Weekends and Holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
