Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for residents using the nursing process. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and provide education while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and families. Manage care across preventative, health maintenance, diagnostic, and treatment phases within the full scope of nursing practice. May serve as charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel. Requires an unencumbered Minnesota RN license; Bachelor's degree preferred. Night shift rotation (10:00pm to 6:30am) with rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for Rotating Weekends and Holidays
- Must be available for Night Shifts (10:00pm to 6:30am)
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
