Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement health maintenance plans for seniors. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to evaluate care outcomes and educate residents on treatment phases. Delegate tasks to assistive personnel while ensuring safe administration of care within Minnesota Nurse Practice Act standards. Serve as charge nurse when assigned to manage resident care needs across the 79-bed facility.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
