Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement preventative health maintenance for 79-bed facility residents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, evaluate, and resolve care concerns while serving as charge nurse when needed to delegate tasks to assistive personnel. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state Nurse Practice Act standards. This part-time night shift role (10:00pm to 6:30am) includes rotating weekends and holidays with a bi-weekly schedule. Candidates must hold an unencumbered Minnesota RN license.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for Rotating Weekends and Holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
