Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement treatment plans for residents in a 79-bed skilled care facility. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care while serving as charge nurse when assigned to delegate tasks to assistive personnel. Manage preventative care, health maintenance, and education across days, evenings, and nights, with availability for weekend and holiday rotations. Maintain full scope of nursing expertise within state practice standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Must be available to work 6 shifts per month to include two weekend shifts and holiday rotation
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
