Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement interventions across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, residents, and families to plan and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing practice. Serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe administration of care and resolution of service concerns. Maintain licensure in Minnesota and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Work various shifts including days, evenings, and nights, with a requirement to complete six shifts per month including weekend and holiday rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Must be available to work 6 shifts per month to include two weekend shifts and holiday rotation
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
