Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and deliver education while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and families. Manage care across preventative, health maintenance, diagnostic, and treatment phases. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of competence. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards per the assigned clinical setting. Work PRN shifts varying by days, evenings, and nights, with availability for weekend and holiday rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Must be available to work 6 shifts per month to include two weekend shifts and holiday rotation
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
