Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessment, and implement interventions for health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, providers, families, and delegates to plan, evaluate, and resolve care concerns while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Serve as charge nurse as needed, delegating tasks within the scope of practice and ensuring safe administration of care. Requires an unencumbered Minnesota RN license, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. PRN schedule with various shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Must be available to work 6 shifts per month to include two weekend shifts and holiday rotation
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
