Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, providers, families, and residents to coordinate care and implement interventions. May serve as charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to standards outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Requires an unencumbered Minnesota RN license, availability for various shifts including weekends and holidays, and a Bachelor's degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Must be available to work 6 shifts per month to include two weekend shifts and holiday rotation
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
