Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents, coordinating assessments, education, and treatment plans across all phases of health maintenance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to implement and evaluate care while serving as charge nurse when assigned to delegate tasks to assistive personnel. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice and adhere to state Nurse Practice Act standards. Requires current unencumbered Minnesota RN license, Bachelor's degree preferred, and availability for 12-hour night shifts (4:00pm to 4:30am) with every-other-weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for Every Other Weekend and Rotating Holidays
- Must be available for Night Shifts (4:00pm to 4:30am)
- Must be willing to work 12 Hour shifts
- Must be willing to work Evening/Night Shifts
- Must be willing to work bi-weekly pay periods
- Must be willing to work 36.00 Weekly Hours
- Must be willing to work 72 Hours a bi-weekly pay period
- Must be willing to work from 6:00pm to 6:00am
- Must be willing to work weekend incentives
- Must be willing to work shift incentives
- Must be willing to work in a Drug Free Workplace
- Must be willing to undergo a drug screen
- Must be willing to undergo pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
