Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to coordinate care and implement interventions. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of resident services. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Requires a current unencumbered Minnesota RN license, bi-weekly 72-hour schedule from 4:00pm to 4:30am, and eligibility for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for Every Other Weekend and Rotating Holidays
- Must be available for Night Shifts (4:00pm to 4:30am)
- Must be available for Evening shifts
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
