Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, providers, families, and residents to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and deliver resident education while practicing within the full scope of nursing expertise and state Nurse Practice Act standards. May serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel. Requires an unencumbered Minnesota RN license, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Shifts run 4:00pm to 4:30am, every other weekend, and rotating holidays, with a bi-weekly schedule of 72 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for Every Other Weekend and Rotating Holidays
- Must be available for Night Shifts (4:00pm to 4:30am)
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
