Job Summary
Conduct individualized nursing care for residents using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate care, perform resident assessments, and provide education while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and families. Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within their scope of competence. Manage care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment within the full scope of nursing practice. This 12-hour evening/night shift (4:00pm to 4:30am) includes every other weekends and rotating holidays. The facility is a 79-bed long-term skilled care and transitional care center in Brainerd, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for Every Other Weekend and Rotating Holidays
- Must be available for Night Shifts (4:00pm to 4:30am)
- Must be available for Evening/Night Shifts
- Must be available for 12 Hours shifts
- Must be available for 36.00 Weekly Hours
- Must be available for Full time employment
- Must be available for 72 Hours a bi-weekly pay period
- Must be available for shifts from 6:00pm to 6:00am
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
