Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients in the Behavioral Health department. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information while performing duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards. This full-time night shift role (3-12's 7p-7a) requires a current RN license, BLS certification, and an Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN. Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
