RN Registered Nurse Baylor Night Shift

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of resident and family needs to determine required nursing services for adult and geriatric populations. Provide direct care while delegating and supervising all nursing activities, managing resident activities, and monitoring care quality during assigned shifts. Serve as a liaison to the Program Manager and Nursing Supervisor regarding major program occurrences and needs. Maintain clinical competence and professional relationships while utilizing skills to improve quality of care and develop clinical expertise. Requires a current, active RN license, BLS certification, and one year of medical/surgical or skilled nursing experience. Weekend-only schedule (Saturday and Sunday) with 24-hour shifts paid for 32 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of medical/surgical, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience
