Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, triage, and care planning for individuals across the continuum of care, including preventative health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to implement and evaluate care plans while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Deliver individualized nursing interventions and patient education within the full scope of nursing expertise, ensuring competency in age and population-specific protocols. Maintain current BLS certification and pursue required ACLS and specialty training within one year of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as a RN (or LPN) at another facility
- Requires current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state, or states, of practice
- Must maintain current BLS certification
- Additional training requirements for all RNs, which must be obtained within one year from date of hire, including ACLS and one of the following: CALS, CATN, ATCN or TNCC
