Job Summary
Deliver holistic, high-quality nursing care aligned with clinical standards and organizational protocols in the Neuro Stepdown unit. Initiate, implement, and monitor personalized patient care plans while serving as the central communication link between physicians, specialists, and the nursing team. Accurately observe, record, and communicate changes in patient conditions, then manage physician and nursing orders to support successful discharge transitions. Requires Oklahoma Board of Nursing licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and a nursing diploma or professional licensure. Full-time weekend schedule at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Professional licensure at time of hire
