Job Summary
Ambulatory RN position at Carle Health in Urbana, IL. The role involves applying a systematic nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for individuals and families within the RN scope of practice. Responsibilities include triaging patient calls/messages, providing patient education during nurse visits (including annual wellness and chronic disease education), assisting with procedures, obtaining prior authorizations, scheduling, mentoring support staff (MA & CMA), participating in process improvement committees, maintaining medical supplies, and supporting clinical operations to improve outcomes. Requires active Illinois RN license, adherence to standards of care, strong communication, and leadership capabilities to support departmental initiatives.
