Job Summary
As an Allergy RN at Gundersen Health System, you will deliver specialized care with a balance of direct patient interaction (70%) and clinical coordination (30%), including allergy testing, injections, and patient education; room patients and perform clinical intake; conduct nurse-only visits with injection schedules and follow-ups; manage phone triage, MyChart in-basket messaging, and care coordination; review referrals to ensure appropriate scheduling and care plans; and collaborate with Pediatrics, Dermatology, Pulmonary, Pharmacy, and Float Pool. The role operates in a collaborative, autonomous team environment with a daytime 8-hour shift, part-time schedule (0.7 FTE) in Onalaska, WI, with no weekends or on-call described. Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Associate degree in nursing (or higher)
- Current Infant–Adult Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers
