Job Summary
Provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients following facility policies. Perform initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments and develop nursing plans of care consistent with master treatment plans. Participate in treatment team conferences to plan and revise goals, objectives, and interventions for age-related and problem-specific needs. Implement nursing plans and conduct or co-lead group therapy sessions. Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise care plans as needed in collaboration with the treatment team. This role offers multiple shift options including full-time days, nights, and PRN rotating schedules at UAB St. Vincent's East.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
