Job Summary
RN in Cardiac ICU/CCU (A3) providing independent, routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process across high-acuity cardiac and medical-surgical patients; administers medications and treatments, monitors effects, documents history and care, and educates patients and families; requires BSN preferred, BLS and ACLS within specified timeframes, 7AM–7PM, full-time in Charlotte, NC; collaborates with team to deliver evidence-based care for post-cardiac intervention patients and those with devices like pacemakers/ICDs, while supporting ongoing professional development and competency validation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience: 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- RN License in state of employment or compact
- ACLS certification within policy grace periods
- New Nurses Orientation and annual competency validations (as described)
