Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities in the St. Louis region. Report to assigned hospitals within the regional footprint, with specific facility assignments determined upon hire and approved by leadership. Rotate through diverse units including Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Stepdown, and Intensive Care settings to strengthen clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Collaborate with diverse care teams and patient populations while maintaining a current RN license and required certifications such as BLS and ACLS. Work nights, part-time, and float to up to three assigned facilities including Mercy St. Louis, Jefferson, and Washington.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg
- Minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN experience for all other specialties (ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg and Behavioral Health
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care (CC)
