Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities in the St. Louis region. Collaborate with diverse care teams in units including Orthopedics, Trauma, Oncology, Neuro, Medical, Surgical, Telemetry, Stepdown, and various ICU specialties. Report to facilities within the regional footprint as assigned by the hiring leader. Maintain current RN licensure and hold required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and Epic experience. Work nights in a part-time role of 24 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg
- Minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN experience for all other specialties (ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg and Behavioral Health
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care (CC)
- Ability to stand/walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
- Must be available for regional float pool assignments across Mercy Washington and Surrounding Communities facilities
- Must be available for Nights shift
- Must be available for Part Time (24 hours per week) schedule
