Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities in the St. Louis region. Rotate through diverse units including medical-surgical, telemetry, stepdown, and intensive care settings while reporting to facilities within the regional footprint. Maintain a current RN license and meet state board requirements, with experience in bed-side care required for assignment. Work part-time nights shifts with a minimum of 24 hours per week, reporting to a hiring leader for facility assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg
- Minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN experience for all other specialties (ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg and Behavioral Health
- BLS & NRP certifications for Women's Health
- Ability to stand/walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
- Must be available to report to facilities within the regional footprint of the home hospital
- Must be available for Nights shift
- Must be available for Part Time (24 hours per week)
- Must be available for Weekend shifts
- Must be available for Evenings
- Must be willing to float to multiple hospitals across the St. Louis region
- Must be willing to work at Mercy St. Louis, Mercy Jefferson, Mercy South, Mercy Washington, Mercy Lincoln, Mercy Perry, Mercy Southeast, or Mercy Stoddard facilities
- Must be willing to work at least 3 assigned facilities
