Job Summary
Regional Float Pool RN available for part-time night shifts across Mercy St Louis and surrounding communities. Float to Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU with diverse patient populations; requires RN license and current certifications. One year of bedside Med/Surg RN experience required (two years for ICU/other specialties). BSN preferred. Certifications: BLS (and NRP for Women’s Health as indicated). Epic experience is a plus. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualized nursing care, collaboration with diverse care teams, and supporting multiple hospital units within the regional footprint.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Licensure: current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- One year of recent bedside RN experience to work Med Surg; two years for ICU/other specialties
- Preferred Education: BSN
- Certifications: BLS; (for Med Surg and Behavioral Health) BLS; (for Women's Health) BLS & NRP
- Physical requirements:Stand/Walk; bending and stooping; lifting and turning patients; push/pull up to 50 pounds
