Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities in the St. Louis region. Report to assigned units within the regional footprint, which may include Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Stepdown, or Intensive Care settings. Maintain a current RN license and meet state board requirements while reporting to facilities determined upon hire with leadership approval. This part-time, night shift position offers flexibility and variety, allowing you to strengthen clinical assessment and critical thinking skills while collaborating with diverse care teams.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg
- Minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN experience for all other specialties (ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg and Behavioral Health
- BLS & NRP certifications for Women's Health
- Ability to stand/walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant amount of bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
- Must be available for regional float pool assignments across Mercy St. Louis and surrounding communities
- Must be available for nights shift
- Must be available for part-time status (24 hours per week)
