Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities in the St. Louis region. Report to assigned hospitals within the regional footprint, with specific units ranging from medical-surgical and telemetry to ICU and stepdown. Collaborate with diverse care teams while rotating through units such as orthopedics, trauma, and cardiac care. Maintain current RN licensure and hold required certifications including BLS and ACLS. Work nights, part-time (24 hours per week), with eligibility for regional float pool perks and shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg
- Minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN experience for all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg and Behavioral Health
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care (CC)
- Ability to stand/walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
- Must be available for regional float pool assignments across multiple facilities in the St. Louis region
- Must be available for night shifts
- Must be available for part-time status (24 hours per week)
