Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities in the St. Louis region. Report to facilities within the regional footprint, with specific assignments determined upon hire and approval by leadership. Provide bedside care in units including medical/surgical, telemetry, stepdown, and intensive care settings. Maintain a current RN license and hold required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and AORN. Work part-time nights shifts with a minimum of 24 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg
- Minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN experience for all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg and Behavioral Health
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care (CC)
- Ability to stand/walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant amount of bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
- Must be available to report to facilities within the regional footprint of the home hospital
- Must be available for Nights shift
- Must be available for Part Time status (24 hours per week)
