Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities in the St. Louis region. Rotate through units including Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, and ICU to strengthen clinical assessment and critical thinking skills while collaborating with diverse care teams. Work nights in a part-time capacity (24 hours per week), reporting to facilities within the regional footprint upon hiring approval. Maintain current RN licensure and required certifications (BLS, ACLS for critical care) while providing bedside care with physical demands involving lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg
- Two years of recent bed-side RN experience for all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg and Behavioral Health
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care (CC)
- Ability to stand/walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
- Availability to report to facilities within the regional footprint of the home hospital
- Willingness to have determination of facilities discussed upon hire with approval by hiring leader/leadership team
- Willingness to work nights

- Willingness to work evenings
- Willingness to work shifts of 24 hours per week

- Willingness to float to Telemetry units (Cardiac, Surgical, Medical)
- Willingness to float to Stepdown units (Medical, Surgical, Trauma, Neuro, Cardiac)
- Willingness to float to Intensive Care units (CVICU, Trauma ICU, Burn ICU, Surgical ICU, Neuro ICU)
- Willingness to serve a minimum of 3 assigned facilities
