Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Mercy’s Regional Float Pool working part-time nights across Mercy St. Louis and surrounding Missouri facilities. The role involves assessing and planning care, implementing and evaluating nursing care per standards for adult/geriatric patients, and collaborating with diverse care teams as you float to Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU, and other units at a minimum of eight Mercy campuses in the St. Louis region. Opportunities include flexible rotations across units (Med/Surg, Tele, ICU, Ortho, Trauma, Oncology, Neuro, Cardiac, Burn, and more), with a focus on professional growth, clinical assessment, critical thinking, and continuous learning. Requirements include RN licensure, 1 year bedside RN experience (2 years for certain specialties), BLS (and NRP for Women’s Health as applicable), and ability to work nights with shift differentials; BSN preferred and Epic experience encouraged. Sign-on bonus of $10,000, comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, and retirement plans are highlighted.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Minimum one year bedside RN experience for Med Surg; two years for other specialties (ICU, etc.)
- BLS (Med Surg and Behavioral Health) or BLS & NRP (Women’s Health)
- Epic experience (preferred)
- BSN preferred (Education: ASN to BSN pathway)
- Shift: Night differential and sign-on bonus information included
- Physical requirements: standing/walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds
