Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities in the St. Louis region. Rotate through units including Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, and ICU to strengthen clinical assessment and critical thinking skills while collaborating with diverse care teams. Report to facilities within the regional footprint as determined upon hire. Requires one year of recent bed-side RN experience for Med/Surg or two years for critical care specialties, plus current BLS certification and ACLS for critical care roles. Work nights, part-time (24 hours/week), with shift differentials and a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg
- Minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN experience for all other specialties (ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg and Behavioral Health
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care (CC)
- Ability to stand/walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
- Availability to report to facilities within the regional footprint of the home hospital
- Willingness to have determination of facilities discussed upon hire with approval by hiring leader/leadership team
- Willingness to work nights
- Willingness to work part-time (24 hours per week)
