Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities within the St. Louis region. Report to assigned facilities including Mercy St. Louis, Jefferson, South, Washington, Lincoln, Perry, Southeast, and Stoddard, with specific units ranging from Orthopedics and Trauma to ICU and Telemetry. Maintain a current RN license and BLS certification, with ACLS required for critical care roles. Perform duties involving standing, walking, and lifting patients up to 50 pounds. Work part-time nights shifts totaling 24 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg
- Minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN experience for all other specialties (ICU, etc.)
- BLS certification for Med Surg and Behavioral Health
- BLS and ACLS certifications for Critical Care (CC)
- Ability to stand/walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
- Must be available to report to facilities within the regional footprint of the home hospital
- Must be available for Nights shift
- Must be available for Part Time (24 hours per week) schedule
