Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in Labor and Delivery at the Birth Center, utilizing the nursing process and a multidisciplinary team approach. Prioritize patient wellness and evidence-based practice while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Maintain NRP certification within six months of hire and hold current BLS or CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Work full-time nights (72 hours per pay period) onsite at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion in Aurora, CO. Join a fast-paced clinical environment guided by AWHONN and AACN standards, supported by clinical educators for competency validation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
