Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in ICU and Med-Surg units across regional Mercy facilities. Self-schedule night shifts and travel to surrounding locations within a 90-mile radius, including Springfield, Joplin, Carthage, and Ozark. Provide care in accordance with nursing standards while maintaining current RN licensure and required certifications such as BLS and ACLS. Work full-time nights with variable shift incentives and day-one comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a state approved professional nurse program
- Current RN licensure with State Board of Nursing in the applicable state of practice or current temporary work permit in the applicable state of practice
- 3 years of RN experience within your service line in the past 12 months
- BLS certification
- ICU: BLS, ACLS
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Must be able and willing to travel to surrounding Mercy facilities within 90 miles from their home address
- Must be able to work night shift
